Throwback Friday

Because I'm feeling kind of lazy, and don't know if I really want to do a drawing today, I'm going to declare today "Throwback Friday". But I would like to post something that you haven't seen before. So I perused through my sketchbook and journal and took a few shots. They are the real drawings where I just let loose and draw for my enjoyment, and not as a means to present a finished piece. So here they are... I'm going to actually start it out with one that I didn't draw. This is a drawing done by my oldest brother Garry. It's Andy Warhol. I always looked up to him and admired his art when I was young. We both had an art teacher in highschool that really impacted both of us. I kind of liked these alien dudes. Might have to develop them more. It's been close to a year that I've been commuting in on the train to work. My new phone (Galaxy Note 9) has been amazing, and allows me to draw while making my way to the office. Enjoy.

So I've recently had some flashes of inspiration and changes in my life that are positive. I feel like I've come to know myself a bit better through this process and have rekindled an old love that I've had most of my life. I've always loved drawing, but haven't really nurtured and fed that fire the last 10 years or so. I've doodled and sketched here and there during various meetings. And when I find myself in the right type of resturaunts where the table cloth is actually paper, and they provide crayons. Otherwise I had a good friend that really helped me to remember the love I have inside of me for drawing.
